One of the first articles I read

this morning was this one. A reply of @rokhani on a comment of mine. I thought: I can do this too since at times I write comments long enough to be an article. Comments curators should upvote but they rarely do since it's hard to find them just like all those writers who exist but I have a hard time finding them.

Yesterday I spent nearly the entire day searching for a good read, something that makes me laugh which is far from easy. It's as if humour no longer exists but if you need a good laugh, black humour (indeed the ironic one) does you good, then follow me because from now on I'm going to hunt for good reads and those that make me laugh. At the end of the day it was @dove11 with his refusal to leave the planet Earth and this morning it was rokhani who made clear that 8 glasses of water are not equal to 8 litres of water. I wonder if there are people who truly believe this is the case.

It's not easy to drink enough water, whatever enough may be. During my childhood, I drank way less than today just like most people and no one was dehydrated. Back then we drank a small cup of tea in the morning at breakfast, one drink around 10 a.m., and nothing during dinner at noon (we had dinner at noon, not in the evening). After school, it was teatime another cup, not one of those big mugs we all have today (contains about 300 millilitres) and during the evening meal we rarely drank and if not in bed already there was 'coffee time' for the adults and perhaps children drank something. The average bedtime for children was between 6-7 p.m. So as a child, I drank at least for 12 hours or longer nothing. During the day it wasn't even 1 litre!

So when exactly did the promotion of 'at least 2 litres a day' start?
I wonder if it has to do with the import of more and more fast food and all those fixed products sold by the shops. These products are bombs of salt! Too much salt is unhealthy, just like all those chemicals in food. The only way to get rid of it is to flush (pee) it out!

NOTE: If you always feel thirsty know this can be a symptom of diabetes but also be caused by drinking coffee and lemonade (many feel thirsty after drinking tea too).

I know salt makes me sick don't hardly use it. About 5 years ago a doctor told me I looked dehydrated, would feel better after infusions (this was not the case but it did hurt my intestines) and I should eat a few tablespoons of salt daily. 🤯 well, I tried it for two days but that didn't work out well.

If it comes to toilet visits at night it's important to know how fast your kidneys flush out what you drink. My two children hardly drink and the youngest knows she needs to visit the bathroom within 30 minutes which means no way she can have a drink before travelling to school for 2 hours.

NOTE: Kidneys are no sieves. They have to work to get rid of all fluids (drinks, fruits, vegetables...all that lives contains an average of 70% of water). Over-excessive drinking is bad for the kidneys. Did you know you can kill a person by letting him/her drink too much water? Not funny so do not drink 8 litres especially not at once since humans aren't camels.

I thought: If we all leave our comments with the hashtag #freewrite and #comment the work of the curators will be sooo much easier. 😉

@rokhani deserves an emoji for his reply

This talk about water is starting to drown my brain, I feel the need to recall my friend @bacco. Maybe he has the secret to avoiding nightly trips to the bathroom and keeping dehydration at bay... or at least to forget why we entered the kitchen at 3 in the morning. But, alas, as I ponder the philosophy of hydration, I find myself navigating between health advice and Dionysian invocations. Wine may not improve my concentration or the health of my skin, but at least it makes me see the world through rose-colored glasses... or should we say in red?🥴

@bacco never visits the bathroom at night? I hope this doesn't mean he's dehydrated or worse wets his bed.

If you drank enough wine it's understandable why you forgot why you visited the kitchen at 3 a.m.... Frying french fries?

Some writers write better after the intake of alcohol... They mentioned beer... Beer activates the kidneys/bladder so I suggest you stick to the wine otherwise you have less time to write.

🥂

Bacchus, dehydrated more from an excess of ego than wine, now begs for tobacco and a kidney. He turns to Venus, but surprise: she's on vacation in the Maldives, too busy snapping divine selfies to care about divine ailments.👋

I really don’t drink water but once I’m done eating and I’m thirsty, the amount of water I drink scares even me….lol.

After school, it was teatime another cup, not one of those big mugs we all have today (contains about 300 millilitres)

This part of your post really made me laugh and made me remember my kid sis when she went travelled to UK. She said she went to visit a friend and I need to see the little tea cup they gave her to take her tea, that it won’t even satisfy even a new born baby over here..

You need to come to Nigeria and take our own tea cup… it’s satisfying 😊

What do you drink if no water?
If I drink too much I can hear it in my belly, same with the dogs.

Those tea cups are not for drinking but sipping. 🤐

Officially, coffee cups are small and tea cups are more wide like a bowl - not extremely big but still better but what you drink is always cold.

I am glad I made you laugh, thank you for sharing a memory.

Lol… as kids, we will be moving our body to make sure the water sound in our belly before we know we are satisfied 😂😂

I like this post. We can write back to each other as a form of chat and become one free write post. I'm proud to know you.We hope curator will visite our post.

Super. Let's do that. You can use a prompt too. Do not forget to use the #comment tag and #freewrite.

Where is my emoji from you? Don't I deserve one?
😫

Yes of course you get it

This one is huge! 🤩

Where did you find it?

To be honest, I have tried 'water therapy' in different ways, like when I used to drink 3 litres, and I mean 3 litres, not three glasses (300 ml each). My intake of water used to be 5–6 litres a day during the summer (but then you should know what an Indian summer is).

But now I have come back to my normal 2 litres a day (water), and if you add coffee, tea, and one more item (you know what I take twice a week, which marketing people take whether they like it or not) the intake of amount of liquid goes up.

But this post is about comments and curators. I absolutely agree with you and your point. And thanks for mentioning me in your post!

At a certain point I drank 4 or more. The doctor said I looked dehydrated (or thought it was the cause of my fainting) I drank 2 liters more which makes unvomfortable and it changed nothing except me living in the bathroom. 🥴

A glass back then was about 125 ml and if I may believe the info on the bottles of milk, juice and so on it still is (and 1 portion),the cups were half the size?

It makes me wonder why we need to drink more. Back then I never felt thirst today I always do (no diabetis).

This post was my comment on a post that was a response on a comment of mine and the topic was "water intake" (still there 😉) since I used a prompt I had to fit it into my text.

Why posts like these? Because many do not read the comments and if an answer is long enough why not post it separate? Perhaps a few more people will read it?

I noticed there are many never redponfing on comments, if the platform struggling again?
I noticed too if I edit it doesn't show and it feels Steempro Mobile has issues too.

A great day. Thanks for your cool comment. It was a delight to read you and those who make me laugh are worth the mention.
👋🍀💕

Water therapy is good but we need to be ready to go to the toilet. Because the water we drink will clean the "dirt" in the body. The body needs to adapt to receive large amounts of water. It could be that at the start of therapy you may feel dizzy because the cells receive an excess amount of water. This could be said to be "poisoned" by the excess water content in the cells.
But it will slowly decrease and become a habit until the therapy is successful. The tip that must be followed is that after drinking and feeling like you want to urinate, you must do it immediately, don't hold it in, then drink again until finally your body is "clean"

But this post is about comments and curators. I absolutely agree with you and your point. And thanks for mentioning me in your post!

I think it is just about comment and curator. @wakeupkitty want to build good ecosystem that many steemian will"get up" and take a part in this talking. So, when we talk each other trough comment or post we will find "family Spirit" and then the aim is make Stemit as better habitat to grow all of us.

Emoticons are a benefit for mobiles only. Whoever sticks with a notebook/netbook like me can only copy and paste from other friends' comments who use a mobile (when I find them available like now😄🤣😊💕).

I keep that in mind. Next time I add some emoji to make it easier for netbook users. 😉

If you like to write a post-comment you can use #freewrite and #comment

😉😉😉😉

P.s. The link is left behind where to find them. I asked my son he thinks some browsers have a button.

Btw you can always do it thebold fashioned way :) or ;) x o

Esa expresión me hizo reír muchísimo.

Good comments deserve to be read and it is what Steemit says they want to see.

So why not posting them publicly instead of hissen in a background frequently not even read by the writer of the text?

I love to read a twist of what I or others wrote. Why always being so seriously? Let's enjoy and make this a fun place to be, I keep an eye on your #comment for sure and see if I can find your friend's reply on your post.

A happy day dear @lunasilver 🍀💕
