The Diary Game: [12/05/2024] Sunday, Frying Akara For Breakfast

Today was a beautiful day already as it was Sunday it's always a thing of joy for me whenever it's a Sunday morning because I will have to be in the presence of my maker (God).

And as always I woke up by 5am, went to my elder sister's room for morning devotion with the girls.

The devotion session took so long almost an hour plus. It started from the opening prayer, which was lead by my younger niece.

After opening prayer, my sister lead the teaching and explained a whole lot for us, she also asked so many questions inorder to test us if we actually understood all what she has taught us.

The teaching was a long one like I said earlier, and we actually enjoyed the teaching because it was a teaching about Moses and how God parted the red sea for the children of Israel to cross over.

After the long teaching, I had to summarize everything, then the closing prayer was lead by the maid.

We all dispatched to our different duty post, i and my sister went to the kitchen to prepare akara, we had grinded beans flour already in the house, so the Akara process wasn't a tedious one.

We pour the beans flour into the mortal, put little water and start turning it gently till it dissolved, then we put onions and fresh pepper into it so that it will taste sweet.

We started frying the Akara little by little till we finished everything. By then everyone has finished bathing and dressing up for church

It was the breakfast that was now holding them. I prepared pap for them to used in drinking with the Akara, normally I don't take pap so I had to tea, bread and akara. That was a very heavy meal for me.

After eating we now left for church, the teaching from the bishop was awesome and the testimony from two brothers were so interesting.

After we dismissed from the church, there was a heavy rain fall, it rained so heavily that no one was able to leave the church premises, and I used that chance to snap pictures with my girls.

When the rain has subsided, we now decided to start moving, as we entered the road everywhere was flooded and dirt all over the road. Some of my girls had to remove their shoe and hold in their hands inorder to be able to cross the flooded water on the road.

Getting home, my elder has prepared coconut rice for us, we ate so well and because we had a visitors, very big ones that I couldn't used my phone while eating with them, that's why you didn't see any picture of the food.

We all rested enough after eating,then later in this evening my elder send me to buy beverages, the sachet ones so we could use it for dinner as tea and bread since the visitor we had brought us big bread.

After buying the sachet beverages, I went back home with my niece, straight to the kitchen to prepare the tea so that everyone could take, it was very cold, I mean the weather because of the heavy rain fall in the afternoon.

Immediately after the dinner, there was electricity light and everybody resulted in watching a movie on the TV, that was how we all slept in the process of seeing a movie.

The post I wanted making in the night before sleeping has now become morning post, since this is the time I woke up.
