Hi all my beautiful and talented ladies friends, today I want to show you a simple dish, this is a typical Acehnese food, usually in our area it is called teuphep sauce.

This dish can be cooked with any fish and is like a curry sauce mixed with coconut milk and several kitchen spices which will produce a taste and aroma that will arouse our appetite.

OK friends, let me give you the recipe, and first, don't forget what ingredients we have to use, of course, the ingredients I got were fresh fish caught directly by fishermen near here without any preservatives. Here I use dencis fish, because the meat is delicious, that's why I like this fish.

I have enjoyed this fish for the umpteenth time, and this time I don't want to enjoy it alone anymore, by sharing the recipe in this great community, I hope other ladies will be interested and want to try it and taste this typical Acehnese food.

OK... The materials we have to prepare are:

So, those are some of the ingredients that I have listed that you have to prepare, really ingredients that are easy to get and also very affordable.

OK, the first thing we have to do is clean the dencis fish, remove all the dirt in its stomach, clean the fish's blood and rinse it until it is clean.

Come on, sprinkle a little salt and 1 lime juice into the cleaned fish, so that the fish doesn't taste bland. I let the lime juice sit for a few moments so that it really penetrates the fish.

I started peeling 6 cloves of red onion, 2 cloves of garlic, cleaning turmeric, sunti acid, cayenne pepper, coriander and also red chili, I washed all the ingredients and put them in a blender then I blended until smooth, this is the recipe I made myself.

Then, I squeeze the grated coconut myself by hand, around 300 ml of coconut milk is ready to use. I like to use natural coconut milk because it hasn't been touched by preservatives.

So, my friends, next, you will see the cooking method or step by step which I will show you in detail so that it is easier for you to apply it or try it at home later.

I prepare a clean frying pan then I pour in 2 tablespoons of cooking oil, I take curry leaves, cardamom and bay leaves and don't forget star anise to produce a fragrant cooking smell and strong spices.

Add the magic spice mixture😅 which I have blended until smooth, I stir it for a while until the fragrant smell from the stir-fry comes out, I put the dencis fish into it.

After the spices and fish were mixed well, then I added 300 ml of coconut milk that I had prepared, ready to go into the pan and swim with the fish in it😊.

Eittss... Eitsss. Someone forgot! The dish is starting to be ready, but I forgot to add salt and sugar to the sauce. I immediately took a jar of salt and sugar, took the appropriate amount and put it into the sauce to produce a delicious and savory taste.

Then while waiting for it to cook, I cut one tomato and also some green chilies, I like to eat it, if you don't like it you can skip it. I stirred it well and waited until the coconut milk had reduced before it was ready to serve.

For food at home I rarely use flavorings because my husband and I don't like them, although occasionally I use them, but in this dish I didn't use them.

After 10 minutes on the stove, finally my teuphep sauce was cooked too. I turned off the stove and poured it into bowls so it was ready to be enjoyed with the family.

This dish is usually very suitable to be enjoyed with warm rice and some cold drinks such as young coconut ice, fresh telang ice and sweet iced tea on hot afternoons like this.

Alhamdulillah, the taste of the food I made was very delicious, I hope my friends will like it.

That's a simple recipe that I want to share with you ladies, good luck trying it, I hope the results are satisfactory and of course the recipe I share can be useful knowledge for me and all of you.

Thank you for reading my blog until the end, I hope you enjoy my simple publication and I am happy to share and say a thousand thanks to you and also this great community, I can hone my cooking talents to be even better, please advise and input from you guys, God willing, I will receive it well.

Makanan favorit saya juga ikan teman, orang Indonesia terbiasa makan nasi dengan ikan, dan tak bisa diganti dengan lainnya. *tidak makan nasi berarti tak makan😄.

Ouh masakanku bikin kamu tergoda, saya begitu senang mendengarnya.

Terima kasih pujian anda dan doa, anda juga jago teman 🙂
