Daily, yaro longs for the outside
To sit out and watch the flies,
As they gather around the dirt from the bin.

Despite the scorching sun,
Outside was his own palace.
Yaro cared nothing for the burns from the sun.

School was not his parent cup of tea
But yaro was a mind adventurer,
Who wondered about in his mind.

His movements had limits set by mama
But his mind could travel to the ends of the world.
Yaro the front yard and back yard boy.

Unlike other kids, he only got visited by others,
He played with others, but only near his borders.
Yaro was on a round about circle

On a beautiful Tuesday, he decided to cross the imaginary barricade created by mama,
Yaro should have ignored those mind demons

He went far, loving the greeneries and the fresh fruits,
He ate till his stomach gave him a painful warning.
Yaro slept a little to ease the painful stress.

The sun danced hard and went home to sleep.
Then the moon decided to take over
Yaro was still asleep

The wind gave him some tease,
She caressed his ebony black face
Yaro..... Yaro..... she called out his name

The night was dark with only little to see
Yaro cried out for mama but she was out of his sight,
He cried out some more but no one answered.

He tried locating home, but home was lost
Or was it him that was lost?
Never heard said, never will I cross my border without my mother.
