It is obvious that the first Citizen of a country or an institution is the president or leader of that institution. It is a sign of honour bestowed on leader since he/she is representing the country or the institution.

As much as this is good and admirable, everyone wants to be a first citizen for one reason or the other, some for the fame, others for prestige and so on. But it is really a tasking position and one that is public to all.

The first citizen mist be a good public example and represents his people well, because whatsoever we see the leader do, we assume the followers are in on the same thing.

So, as a leader in any sphere you find yourself, try to be a good example to your people.
