Today, I reach out to you not just as a new member eager to be part of this vibrant community but also as a curious participant in the "Heaven and Hell: fantasy or reality?" contest. I am honored to share my reflections on a topic as profound as it is fascinating, touching the sensitive chords of universal beliefs, hopes, and fears.
Dialogue:
In a tranquil twilight, Arlen begins to ponder some of the deepest questions of existence. "Do heaven and hell truly exist beyond our visible reality? And karma, does it inexorably determine our fate?" he wonders, seeking to unravel the fabric of his beliefs about life, morality, and destiny. "How can concepts such as immortality and chastity shape our way of living and perceiving the world?"
This is an invitation to follow our journey through a sea of timeless questions, where we seek not only answers but also a deeper understanding of ourselves and the world around us.
Arlen: (watching the sunset)
Sometimes, I feel as if there's more than what the eyes can see... as if heaven and hell are closer than we think.
Inner Self: (with a calm tone)
Do you believe in the existence of a place called heaven and hell outside of this world?
It's a reflection that sinks deep into the soul of our being.
Arlen:
I think they're more than places... they're the consequences of our actions reflected in the world around us. Heaven and hell, in a sense, are here among us, in the joys and sorrows we experience every day.
Inner Self:
Do you believe that karma decides our future and that we obtain results based on it? Life is a web of cause and effect, after all.
Arlen:
Karma is not an invisible judge; it's rather the natural outcome of our actions. Every choice carries the seed of its consequences, for better or for worse.
Inner Self:
Reflecting on your life, Do you believe that immortality and chastity are factors that influence our lifestyle?
Arlen:
Immortality is a chimera that distances us from the reality of our existence. The real question is to live a full and meaningful life, here and now. As for chastity, it's a very personal journey towards understanding our most intimate relationships.
Inner Self:
Do you believe there are ways to transform the complexity of the world into a personal paradise?
Arlen:
Of course. Paradise is a garden we cultivate within us, with every act of kindness, every moment of awareness. It's not a place to reach, but a reality to live every day.
As the sun sets, Arlen smiles, having found peace in his reflections. He understands that heaven and hell are not destinations, but experiences; karma, an invitation to awareness; and life, an opportunity to create beauty and meaning. In this dialogue with himself, Arlen discovers that the key to a rich and fulfilling existence lies in accepting the complexity of the world and committing to live every day with integrity and love.

Today I discovered that Arlen, who is alive, is the one who has the answers. The inner self only asks questions. This approach is very interesting.

I believe heaven and Hell both exist. These are the places our deeds will decide to go. Heaven for Good people and Hell is for Bad. Karma do exist too. Human beings are mortal. Your post is amazing my friend.

I love the answer you gave here about karma.. religion had made us feel that whatever we are going through probably is something bad you have done in your former life or in the past, working against you..
My friend, don’t fear the shadows of the past; in every present moment offers you the opportunity to weave new, bright and colorful. The challenges you encounter are not punishments for past actions, but valuable lessons that, if heeded, can guide you to greater wisdom and understanding.👋
Does that make sense to be punished for what you did in former lives or your anchestors did?
If that would be the case why did Jesus die?
The good news is god made man after his example so you have nothing to worry about since god is a serial killer. I can't say he is about forgiveness... 7 plagues, a flood to kill humanity, misery after misery, he is short tempered, asks people to sacrifice/burn their child as proof they believe in him... It goes on and on and on, not to forget all those wars he started and and still take place in his name. It sounds to me he is more develish than the devil I never hear.
God sounds like a very insecure person he always needs to see proof and sacrifices to assure him people trust him. It sounds strange for an almighty person but can be it's his conscious playing with him after all he did.
Religion is a great tool to spread fear and dominate. You cannot do more than your best next to what feels good to you.
I am not so sure about all those rules plus each religion has it's own version of the bible. It might sound great to relay for 100% on a book written and rewritten by a roman emperor who couldn't stand the fact the nations he conquered had more than one god to praise and give gifts to. As an emperor you are god right?
Don't worry too much just live your life, try to enjoy, set boundaries and fight for your right! Brains are meant to be used, to keep you alive not to overload them with thoughts that don't make sense.
Let's have a look at the animal world we are a part from. They do not break their brains about the essence of life, heaven or hell. Just be, that is good enough.

The old man is god, Mr Smith is the devil. Both visit earth together. The old man isn't very updated.
I wouldn't call it a fable since both aren't animals, flowers or items talking.
This is the right book, I've never read it but I think I will, perhaps during the pre-summer break. We have some national holidays that will give me some time for myself. It must be intriguing and fun to read about those two wandering our earth, spiced up with a good sense of humor.

I perfectly love the way you describe karma as an invisible judge who inform us and judge us based on what we do. Yes karma can not be seen but it is always at work every single time. In fact it determines our lifestyle a long way and determine what our future will definitely be and that is why we must be very careful the type of life we actually live

I think I understand Arlen's way of thinking. We can make of our existence a living heaven or a living hell, maybe just not literally speaking about those concepts. Arlen is the kind of person who lives here and now, and tries to make the experience a greatful journey. He or she has no need to worry about a place where it will take him, since he lives guided by "integrity and love".
